The fragmented contest for second place in Amapá's October 2026 Senate election stems from July polling showing Rayssa Furlan leading decisively while Lucas Barreto and Randolfe Rodrigues remain statistically tied for the runner-up spot. Recent candidate registration deadlines have locked in a broad field including Alliny Serrão, Acácio Favacho, Capi, and others, whose support continues to split remaining voter preferences without clear consolidation. Multiple surveys indicate technical parity between the top two challengers when voters name up to two options, sustaining uncertainty reflected in current trader pricing. No major late developments have shifted momentum, leaving the outcome sensitive to final campaign dynamics and turnout patterns before election day.
