Ben Johns holds a commanding position in the men's division heading into the 2026-27 Carvana PPA Tour season, with recent victories restoring his No. 1 singles ranking and consistent results across doubles and mixed formats. The newly launched World Pickleball Rankings system, weighting gender doubles at 50 percent, mixed at 35 percent, and singles at 15 percent over the trailing 52 weeks, rewards complete players and directly influences qualification and seeding for the May 2027 PPA Finals at Life Time Rancho San Clemente. Rising challengers including Christian Alshon, Federico Staksrud, Hunter Johnson, and Andrei Daescu have posted strong recent results, while partnership changes and the expanded international schedule add variables that could shift the top-eight race. Trader consensus reflects Johns' historical dominance tempered by the depth of the field and the long qualification window.

The 2027 PPA Tour Finals is an invitational, season-ending event: players and teams qualify by their Race to the Finals ranking and are drawn into pools, with the top finishers in each pool advancing to the semifinals. A player who does not qualify for the 2027 PPA Tour Finals will resolve to "No".
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed player to reach the Final of the 2027 PPA Tour Finals (e.g. they fail to qualify, are eliminated, withdraw, or are disqualified), the associated market will resolve to "No".
If the 2027 PPA Tour Finals is cancelled, postponed after May 10, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the players that reached the Final have not been officially confirmed by the Professional Pickleball Association within that timeframe, this market will resolve 50-50.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Professional Pickleball Association (https://ppatour.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
