Boston Red Sox enter their upcoming series against the Toronto Blue Jays riding a nine-game winning streak that has lifted them to 64-51 and second place in the AL East, tied with the Yankees and just 4.5 games behind the Rays. The Red Sox have surged past .500 with strong offensive output and improved pitching depth, positioning them firmly in the wild-card race. Toronto sits at 55-62, last in the division, with inconsistent results and defensive issues limiting their home advantage at Rogers Centre. Recent head-to-head matchups have favored Boston, though the Blue Jays will look to exploit any travel or rest factors during the four-game set starting August 10. Standings pressure and late-season momentum remain the dominant variables for traders assessing series or game outcomes.
