Hugo Grenier holds a clear edge in this Winston-Salem Open qualifying final on outdoor hard courts, driven by his superior ATP ranking near 258 versus Rottgering’s 418 and greater experience on the main tour. Grenier’s recent results show mixed form with a 27-26 record over the past year, while the Dutch teenager Rottgering has posted steady challenger-level results but limited success against established pros. Both players favor hard courts, yet Grenier’s serve and return consistency provide the primary edge in best-of-three format. No major injuries or withdrawals have altered the field, keeping focus on baseline rallies and service holds as key variables in the outcome.
