Gonzalo Bueno, the 22-year-old Peruvian ranked around 178 with a career-high of 160, faces Billy Harris, the 31-year-old Briton ranked near 167 with a career high of 101, in the first round of US Open qualifying on hard courts. Bueno has posted recent Challenger results including a Liberec title run on clay but limited hard-court momentum entering the event, while Harris brings greater Grand Slam qualifying experience, including a Wimbledon main-draw appearance earlier in 2026, despite a modest 2026 win-loss record. With no prior head-to-head and closely aligned rankings, trader consensus reflects the matchup’s competitive balance, factoring serve-return trends, recent form on outdoor hard, and the physical demands of best-of-three qualifying sets.
