Bhambri and Venus bring veteran doubles experience and strong recent hard-court exposure from the North American swing, including competitive showings against seeded pairs in Montreal and Washington despite early exits. Their combination of Bhambri’s baseline consistency and Venus’s net skills suits the Winston-Salem hard courts. Nouza and Oberleitner, coming off a Wimbledon third-round run and mixed Challenger results, rely on solid grass-to-hard transition form but lack the same top-level seasoning. The matchup pits established pairing depth against an emerging team with realistic upset potential if serving or return games click early.
