Inter Milan enter the 2026-27 Serie A campaign as clear favorites to defend their title after a dominant 2025-26 finish, positioning them strongly for another top-four finish and 2027-28 Champions League qualification. Napoli, Roma, Juventus, AC Milan, Atalanta, and Como are projected as the main challengers for the remaining spots, with recent preseason activity, key summer transfers such as Gonçalo Ramos to Milan, and coaching adjustments shaping early expectations. The season opens on August 22 with all teams at zero points, making form over the opening months, injury management, and European fixture congestion critical variables. Historical patterns show the top four typically include established sides, though mid-table momentum can shift the race for league-phase spots.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Serie A standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Serie A season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
