Current forecasts for the Zandvoort circuit ahead of the August 23 race weekend point to predominantly dry conditions during the Grand Prix window, supporting the 70.5% implied probability traders assign to no rain. Late-August patterns in the Netherlands typically feature comfortable daytime highs near 20-22°C with moderate winds, though the coastal location can produce variable showers; recent long-range models and seasonal averages suggest limited precipitation risk over the sprint and race days compared to wetter 2025 precedents. In Formula 1 terms, stable dry weather would allow standard slick tire strategies without mandatory intermediate or full-wet changes, reducing safety car likelihood and emphasizing outright pace over adaptability. Any shift in high-resolution guidance closer to the event could quickly adjust market pricing, as coastal fronts remain capable of delivering brief localized showers.
