The resolution source for this market will be official information from the USTA and ATP; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Carlos Alcaraz’s return from a four-month wrist absence after confirming participation, combined with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner’s late withdrawal due to a right knee injury, has reshaped the men’s draw and elevated implied probabilities for several established contenders to reach the quarterfinals. Alexander Zverev, fresh from strong 2026 results including a Roland Garros title, enters as a primary beneficiary alongside players like Félix Auger-Aliassime and Ben Shelton, while additional withdrawals including Jack Draper and Holger Rune further thin the upper bracket. The hard-court surface, recent form on the North American swing, and potential rust for returning players remain key variables ahead of the August 30 main draw start, with the eight-day path to the quarterfinals placing heavy emphasis on early-round consistency and physical durability.
