This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.JJ Wetherholt holds the lead in NL Rookie of the Year trader consensus primarily due to his superior all-around value, reflected in elite defensive metrics at second base, strong baserunning, and roughly 4.5 WAR through mid-August. The Cardinals infielder has posted a .243 average with 16 home runs and 13 stolen bases while excelling in advanced fielding and baserunning run values. Sal Stewart remains the closest challenger thanks to his power surge and league-leading RBI total, including a strong July that produced seven homers and a .510 slugging percentage for the Reds first baseman. A recent MLB.com poll showed the pair nearly tied among voters, underscoring how counting stats versus WAR-based evaluation shapes the market gap. Farther back, Carson Benge and others trail significantly with limited playing time or production.
