This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the MLS for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of MLS for the 2026 season per the rules of MLS (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the MLS; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The even pricing across all 29 MLS clubs for the 2026 runner-up reflects the league's longstanding parity, where regular-season form, playoff matchups, and late surges often determine finalists more than early standings. Nashville SC and Inter Miami CF currently lead the Eastern Conference with strong records after the post-World Cup resumption, while Vancouver Whitecaps FC, LAFC, and others sit atop the West, yet no side has separated decisively. Roster adjustments, including new signings and the return of players from international duty, plus the impact of the six-week FIFA World Cup break on fitness and momentum, keep multiple clubs within striking distance. Historical patterns show underdogs frequently advancing deep in single-elimination formats, sustaining trader consensus on a wide-open field.
