Aryna Sabalenka enters this Cincinnati Open hard-court matchup as the world No. 1 and defending US Open champion with a 36-6 season record, fresh off a gritty three-set win over Talia Gibson where she converted six match points. Sara Bejlek, ranked around No. 35 and unseeded, has posted a strong run with straight-sets wins over Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova to reach the third round. Sabalenka’s superior power, experience in big matches, and consistent form create a wide gap, though Bejlek’s recent momentum on the surface offers limited underdog potential if the higher seed shows any fatigue from the demanding schedule.
