Miami Marlins visit the Cincinnati Reds for the middle game of a three-game series at Great American Ball Park, with both clubs holding middling 2026 records. The Marlins sit at 62-60 in third place in the NL East, while the Reds are 58-62 and fourth in the NL Central. Miami’s edge in run differential and divisional standing is offset by a depleted pitching staff, including multiple injured arms such as starter Max Meyer (neck) and relievers Anthony Bender (shin) and William Kempner (elbow). The Reds have shown recent momentum with series wins and strong home performance, though their offense has struggled at times on the road. Pitching matchups, bullpen reliability, and home-field advantage shape trader views on this interleague contest.
