Clement Chidekh enters the Kingston 1 Challenger second-round matchup on hard courts as the clear favorite, holding a ranking around 205 with a career-high of 176 and more consistent ATP-level experience. The French player’s recent form and direct-entry status contrast with qualifier Kenta Miyoshi, ranked near 495 after strong college results and an 8-2 stretch that included wins in qualifying. Miyoshi’s momentum and solid hard-court record at lower levels create realistic upset potential, yet Chidekh’s higher baseline ranking, serve consistency, and professional seasoning underpin the implied probability edge reflected in current market pricing. No major injuries or weather factors have altered the draw.
