The 2026-27 Süper Lig campaign is only a few weeks old, with teams having played three or four matches, leaving the race for third place highly competitive. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe enter as the clear title frontrunners after strong prior campaigns, while Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş have bolstered squads through major summer additions, including Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor. Early table surprises such as Gençlerbirliği’s strong start and solid showings from Başakşehir, Göztepe, and Samsunspor highlight how transfers, squad depth, and fixture schedules keep multiple clubs in contention for European spots. This broad balance of resources and recent form explains the market’s tight clustering around these outcomes.
