**The Patriots' stronger roster depth and continuity after their 2025 AFC East title and Super Bowl appearance position them as clear favorites to claim the season series.** New England enters 2026 with quarterback Drake Maye, added wide receiver A.J. Brown, and coach Mike Vrabel's proven system intact, while projecting for double-digit wins despite a tougher schedule. Miami's major rebuild—marked by the departure of key veterans including Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, plus a new coaching staff under Jeff Hafley and quarterback Malik Willis—has left the Dolphins with significant cap dead money and a projected sub-.500 record. Traders reflect this gap in the 67.5% implied probability for a Patriots series win, with the 32.5% tie chance accounting for the possibility of a split across the November road game in Miami and the late-season matchup in Foxborough.
