Newly promoted sides such as Leeds United, Ipswich Town, Coventry City, and Hull City enter with strong Championship momentum and recent squad investments, while mid-table incumbents including Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Brentford seek stability through transfer-window additions and managerial continuity. Established clubs like Aston Villa, Brighton, and Bournemouth face similar risks from fixture congestion, travel demands, and potential injury setbacks that can quickly shift table positions. Historical trends show the 17th spot often decided by narrow margins in goal difference and late results, sustaining the tight clustering of trader consensus.
