PAN leads the trader consensus for second place in Mexico’s June 2027 legislative election because recent national polls consistently place the party ahead of other opposition groups in vote intention, with PAN figures ranging from roughly 9–18% while PRI, MC, and smaller parties trail. Morena’s projected first-place finish leaves the second slot open to whichever non-Morena party consolidates the largest share of the remaining vote. Opposition fragmentation, weak organizational capacity, and limited recent gains for PRI or MC have kept PAN positioned as the clearest alternative, producing the current 83% implied probability. No major polling shifts or alliance developments have altered this positioning in the past month.
