This market will resolve to “Yes” if Eli Lilly signs a commercial licensing agreement, technology transfer agreement, or equivalent binding agreement with Peptron that grants Eli Lilly commercial rights to Peptron’s SmartDepot technology by the specified date, 11:59 PM Korea Standard Time. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Only commercial licensing agreements, technology transfer agreements, or equivalent binding agreements that grant Eli Lilly direct commercial rights to develop, manufacture, sell, or otherwise commercialize Peptron’s SmartDepot technology will qualify. Co-development agreements will not qualify. Extensions of the existing Technology Evaluation Agreement or other agreements which are non-binding or do not grant Eli Lilly direct commercial rights to SmartDepot will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Eli Lilly and Peptron; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Eli Lilly’s ongoing evaluation of Peptron’s SmartDepot sustained-release microsphere platform, initiated under a 2024 research collaboration agreement, remains in the assessment phase with no confirmed commercial licensing progress as of mid-August 2026.** The deal grants Lilly non-exclusive rights to test SmartDepot for peptide drugs (including potential obesity candidates like tirzepatide formulations) but explicitly positions any full commercial license as a possible future outcome rather than an imminent step. Recent reporting notes the evaluation timeline extends through October 2026, while Lilly’s expanded long-acting formulation partnership with Camurus for amylin agonists has introduced competitive platform dynamics that traders view as reducing near-term urgency for a Peptron deal. With only weeks remaining until the October 7 resolution date and no public announcements of deal terms, manufacturing scale-up, or regulatory filings, market-implied odds heavily favor “No,” reflecting the typical multi-month-to-year timeline for moving from technology evaluation to executed licensing in the GLP-1 and peptide space.
