Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands the strongest trader consensus for CMA Single of the Year 2026 following its record-setting chart run, including more than 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and a historic triple-crown achievement across country and all-genre rankings. The track, co-produced by Miranda Lambert, already captured the corresponding ACM honor and propelled Langley to nine 2026 CMA nominations, including dual Single of the Year nods alongside her follow-up “Be Her.” The September 10 nomination announcement reinforced this positioning against Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo,” and Cody Johnson’s “The Fall,” with the November 18 ceremony now the key remaining catalyst.
