Enzo Aguiard holds a clear edge in the Zhangjiagang Challenger qualifying opener on outdoor hard courts, driven by his superior 2026 results and ranking advantage over fellow Australian Jesse Delaney. Aguiard enters with a strong win rate above 60 percent this season, multiple ITF titles including M25 Burnie, and recent straight-set victories in Chinese events, reflecting solid hard-court form and improved consistency. Delaney, ranked well outside the top 800, has posted just an 11-24 record in 2026 with limited success on the surface. Their lone prior meeting saw Delaney prevail in straight sets in Brisbane last October, yet Aguiard’s overall trajectory, higher ranking near 500, and better serve-return metrics position him as the consensus favorite among traders evaluating this early-round matchup.
