Morocco’s September 23, 2026, legislative elections unfold in a fragmented multi-party system where no single formation has secured a durable lead. Incumbent RNI, now under new leadership after Aziz Akhannouch, faces headwinds from widespread public distrust tied to economic pressures and spending priorities ahead of the 2030 World Cup. PAM, Istiqlal, and smaller parties such as USFP and MP remain competitive amid shifting alliances and ongoing coalition negotiations. Low polling differentiation, combined with procedural rules favoring broad coalitions over outright majorities, keeps implied probabilities clustered near even money. Fresh candidate-list finalizations, economic data releases, or formal coalition announcements in the coming weeks could widen gaps among the top contenders.
