The Hochelaga-Maisonneuve riding features a crowded field ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, with trader prices clustering tightly around 50% for most named contenders and slightly lower for Maude Brossard-Sabourin and several others. The incumbent Québec solidaire MNA Alexandre Leduc faces Parti Québécois candidate Maude Brossard-Sabourin, Liberal Janny Gaspard, CAQ's Béatrice Hodonou, and Conservative Elena Penta, plus additional independents and minor-party entrants. Recent candidate announcements, the late-August writ drop, and the riding's history of strong left-leaning support in east Montreal have kept probabilities compressed as traders weigh local turnout patterns, vote splitting among progressive options, and broader provincial momentum shifts. Developments such as party leader visits, affordability-focused campaign messaging, or late polling swings in the Montreal region could quickly widen gaps before nomination deadlines close on September 17.
