Incumbent Democratic Representative Joe Neguse faces Republican nominee Kelley Dennison in Colorado’s 2nd congressional district general election on November 3, 2026. The district’s strong left-leaning composition, encompassing Boulder and Fort Collins, underpins the Democratic frontrunner’s commanding position in trader consensus. Neguse, serving since 2019 and holding a House Democratic leadership role, ran unopposed in the primary after Kelley Dennison secured the Republican nomination. Historical voting patterns and the absence of recent polling shifts or candidate controversies reinforce expectations of continuity. A significant national partisan realignment, late-breaking scandal affecting the incumbent, or unusually high turnout among Republican-leaning voters could narrow the margin, though structural factors limit realistic paths to an upset.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
